Position Overview:
  • Salesforce is a transformational tool for client’s sales, the above property sales team. The team is embarking on a journey to transition from Salesforce Classic to Lightning Experience.
  • A savvy, refined communicator and change management expert is required to support this initiative to ensure maximum adoption and a seamless transition experience for the users.
  • The primary purpose of this role is to lead the development of and tactical delivery against change management and communication plans, and training content, for this major transition.
  • This role ensures communication and change plans and goals are achieved; manages and escalates risks and issues related to scope, timeline or cost and works hand-in-hand with the business lead and stakeholders, consistently updating them on project progress.
  • Also ensure that the change management strategy includes a focus on effective communication, training and support for sustained adoption and results with the internal client corporate audience.


Responsibilities:
  • This role will perform other related functions as directed by the Senior Manager, Sales CRM Solutions and will lead a number of key deliverables within the change management and communication plans, to support the transition and rollout of Lightning Experience.
  • More specifically: Lead change management and communication efforts for the Lighting Experience transition, inclusive of the following responsibilities:
    • Change Management:
      • Develop and execute a set of actionable items and targeted change management plans including change approach, communications plan, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan, as required
      • Create communications deliverables and training collateral as required to fulfill aforementioned plans
      • Lead the development of change management and training programs alongside other applicable functions, including deployment planning and execution, operational support planning, and other transition activities to live, steady state operation
      • Align team on change management approach, implement standards as required and monitor opportunities for improvement
      • Collaborate with project team and business stakeholders to ensure that themes and messages are clear and in line with business process, standards and client’s mission and values
    • Communications:
      • Develop and manage the day-to-day execution of all global communication plans
      • Implement standards to ensure that all communications are consistent tone and formatting, accurate and timely, and launched as per agreed cadence
      • Responsible for preparation of and activation of all communication efforts to all impacted audiences, throughout the life of the transition
      • Identify key communication gaps by working closely with subject matter experts, change champions and pilot users.
      • Prioritize requirements and develop and execute a remediation plan, if required
      • Support the planning and development of communications, presentations and workgroup sessions at all meetings, as required
      • Support the creation of new training materials and updates to existing training content, as required

  • Have experience leading behavioral change management and communication efforts for sales users
  • Out of the box communication skills to find creative solutions in reaching and engaging various audiences throughout multiple communication channels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner
  • Self-motivation skills enabling you to take initiative in identifying, prioritizing and implementing tasks with a personal dedication to succeed
  • Interpersonal skills with an aptitude for working in cross-functional, dynamic environments
  • Organization skills that include superb attention to detail

Experience:
  • Helpful to demonstrate the following:
    • Hospitality experience
    • Experience with Salesforce change and communications projects, particularly Lightning Experience transitions
