Responsibilities:
  • Primary responsibility will be to support either Lab or Manufacturing at the Warren NJ site in refining and maintaining supply strategies for all investigational product based on the scientific and regulatory confines of the drugs development.
This includes:
  • Collaboration with cross function teams both site-wide and across the Client network ensuring no out of stock situations.
    • Performing analytical assessments of drug utilization as it pertains to current forecasts versus inventories and creating product orders as needed.
    • Creating order requests outside the standard Oracle system and track payments accordingly (iProc/Ariba).
    • Creating supply strategies per compound and protocol.
    • Developing and managing supply chain timelines.
    • Monitoring long-term inventory and allocation strategies, taking into account drug recertification, country specific regulatory requirements, international drug shipment and overall demand as well as length of studies.
    • Performing analytical assessments of drug utilization as it pertains to current forecasts versus inventories and creating product orders as needed.
    • Communicating timelines and investigational product strategies to cross-functional teams.
 
 
Qualifications:
  • Must have a working knowledge of kanbans and the development of kanbans.
    • Ability to Identify and support strategies for continuous improvement.
    • Must have sense of urgency for team requests.
    • Lean background, Green Belt preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of global pharmaceutical drug development.
  • Advanced communication skills.
  • Source of innovative solutions and new industry best practices.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders outside of internal and external teams.
  • Ability to Identify and support strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Advanced General and Supply Chain specific Project Management skills
  • Advanced analytical skills.
  • Support business needs with any additional tasks as assigned.
  • Must be an expert in Microsoft Excel and all Microsoft packages.
  • Must be proficient in Oracle/SAP ordering processes.
  • Participating in user acceptance testing.
  • Tableau & Sharepoint background preferred.
  • Metrics development and reporting background preferred.
  • Bio-G & SAP/IBP background preferred.
