Position Overview:
  • The client’s team serve as internal consultants to key functions across the business, including client’s customer, marketing, digital, revenue and sales organizations, with specialized support for the executive leadership team.
  • The team consists of both embedded subject matter experts, who serve as strategic advisors to key stakeholders, and more technical experts, who are proficient in a range of technology including SQL, R/Python, Alteryx, Tableau and MicroStrategy.
  • The team is fully integrated within the business functions to ensure close partnerships and more effectively measure and drive company performance.
  • Reporting to the Senior Manager, will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders to capture the problem statements, define success and capture the needed requirements to drive the appropriate solution across various domains such as Business Intelligence, Reporting, Machine Learning, Automation and others.
  • Play a crucial role in translating business needs into requirements and success criteria to ensure delivery with a solid, scalable, and extensible solutions.
  • The role requires flexibility to fill key gaps on the team, ensuring delivery with an emphasis and interest in continued learning opportunities as Client’s  analytics capabilities evolve.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Partner with analytics, business, data, and external partners
  • Document requirements for the Commercial Services Automation road map
  • Partner with business areas to understand business problems and identify tools and datasets necessary for delivery
  • Lead iterative requirements gathering process with Analytics, Data and other business stakeholders as needed, in support of the initial product and continued expansions and enhancements
  • Identify business value for prioritization and trade-off costs among user experience, timeline, and operational support load.
  • Participate in continued learning and development in support of Client’s  Data and Automation products
  • Demonstrate technical understanding of big data environment and automation toolsets
  • Provide inputs to value measurement processes to ensure business results are achieved

Required Experience:
  • High School Degree/GED
  • Four (4) years of professional experience
  • Four (4) years of experience creating and analyzing business needs to translate into actionable problem statements, requirements, and success metrics
  • Two (2) years working with data representation, storytelling, analyses, and modeling
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, especially in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Natural Language Generation (NLG) methods and concepts.
  • Expertise with BI tools (including Tableau, MicroStrategy, SAS, Qlik, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years of professional experience
  • BA/BS Bachelors Degree
  • MBA/Masters in a data, technology or analytically-oriented field
  • Ability to engage audiences
  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and statistical skills
