Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to lab instrumentation operation and basic maintenance within Leads Discovery & Optimization (LDO) at RWC
  • Strong emphasis working in Compound Management, including but not limited to; compound registration, soluabilzations, inventory tracking and shipping/receiving
  • Cell culture as well as performing established biochemical and cell-based assays
  • Collect data on automated platforms and ensure data upload into data analysis tools for supervisor review

Qualifications:
  • Highly detail-oriented and flexible, with proficiency in general computer skills, as well as a high accountability and ownership for projects.
  • Self-motivating, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, be able to multi-task, be highly organized, and have the ability to work in a multifunctional team setting
  • Ability and desire to master new skills, methods and technologies in a technology-enabled environment
  • B.S. in Biological Sciences or Engineering field with experience in operating laboratory instrumentation across high throughput screening (HTS), compound management and/or cell culture
  • Prior Compound Management experience
  • Basic knowledge of cell biology and biochemistry
  • Experience with mammalian tissue culture
  • Prior biotech industrial experience
  • Experience working in diverse, multi-disciplined groups and demonstrated ability to work in a matrix and multi-site work environments, manage multiple priorities, and at times, be self-directed
