Position Overview:
  • The Compliance Analyst/Associate will work closely with junior and senior members of Client's Compliance team to ensure regulatory compliance across Client's global investment platform.
  • The Analyst/Associate will primarily focus on implementation of controls relating to compliance with Client's personal trading, private investment and outside activity-related policies, but will also gain exposure to other aspects of Client's compliance program, including maintenance and implementation of policies and procedures, training, certifications, broker-dealer-related activities, and privacy.
  • Client is looking for an individual with excellent communications skills who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Act as key contact in reviewing employee trading, private investments, and outside activities to ensure compliance with firm policies, liaising with employees at all levels across the organization to answer questions related to these matters
  • Assist in the drafting, maintenance, and implementation of policies, procedures, and trainings
  • Support the creation of reporting standards and metrics to measure different aspects of the overall compliance program
  • Document issues and implement solutions in a timely manner after discovery and resolution
  • Participate in internal and external audits and reviews of the firm's compliance program
  • Assist with general compliance matters and other projects as needed
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate institution with an excellent record of academic achievement
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in financial markets and securities market regulation
  • Ability to think critically and solve challenges with innovative solutions
  • High ethical standards
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues while exercising independent judgment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial, self-guided work ethic with results-driven orientation
  • Excels in a fast-paced, rigorous work environment; effectively prioritizes and meets deadlines
