Find your next opportunity in the Financial Services Industry. Eclaro is looking for an Agile Tools Specialist for our client in Jersey City, NJ.
Eclaro's client is one of the largest banking and financial services firms. They are a major provider of investment banking, asset management, private banking, private wealth management and treasury & security services in the United States.
The Agile Tools Specialist will join the DAC PMO with the objective of supporting the Agile transformation and specifically the configuration and adoption of Jira and other tools across DAC. Additionally she/he will manage a portfolio of projects supporting Scrum Masters and providing status updates to senior executives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Configure and maintain JIRA for a large number of users in support of Scrum, Kanban and residual Waterfall project delivery, defects management and release management
• Implement portfolio management and reporting by leveraging JIRA (and various Plug-ins) or other tools
• Develop metrics dashboards and advanced filters in Jira to provide leadership with meaningful performance metrics and status reports.
• Support implementation of group –wide project and project portfolio metrics based on JIRA
• Implement, or coordinate with other IT staff, for Atlassian tool upgrades
• Create and manage security schemes, custom fields and configurations
• Leverage Confluence as main collaboration tool
• Design, implement and manage templates and artifacts in Confluence
• Train and support geographically distributed users in successfully using JIRA and Confluence with the objective of becoming self-sufficient
• Integrate or support integration of Jira with other tools like Confluence, Jenkins, Bit Bucket, their add-ons and extensions
• Work closely with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Development Teams and other stakeholders in supporting or training for Jira
• Manage, as part of the PMO, a portfolio of projects:
  1. Monitor project status, cross projects dependencies, and delivery progress on an ongoing basis
  2. Identify risks proactively, drive timely mitigation, and escalate to management appropriately
  3. Support annual budgeting process and provide program and project portfolio financial management

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Minimum 5 + years experience in the day to day management of Jira and Confluence including but not limited to creation and management of projects, user provisioning and resolving day to day issues users may face with the tool
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in initial set up / build and configure Jira / Confluence from scratch to meet requirement of scalable Jira / Confluence by more than 1,000 users
• Minimum 5+ years of experience with establishing Portfolio Management, preferably by leveraging Jira or similar portfolio management tools
• Proven experience with global projects in multiple technologies, and functions
• Proven experience in training users in successfully using JIRA and Confluence in a multi project environment
• Working knowledge of the Atlassian API's to develop integrations for reporting or linking with external applications
• Minimum 2 Years of programming experience, Java a plus
• Strong background in Atlassian Products including working knowledge on Atlassian 3rd party plug-in's
• Strong background in streamlining and setting up Confluence pages
• Proven background in designing, creating and managing templates and artifacts in Confluence
• Working knowledge in Agile methodology and Scrum and Kanban frameworks required
• Knowledge of SharePoint and experience with SharePoint integration with JIRA a plus
• Highly analytical and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders
• Takes accountability & ownership of the deliverables and self-initiator
• Ability to effectively interact with people at various levels in the organization including senior management
• Ability to develop strong client and working relationships with the team is a must
• Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work
• Experience in managing project schedules, tracking project completion, and reporting progress effectively to management
• Experience in Risk and Finance Technology with domain knowledge across asset classes a plus
• Bachelor degree required


PREFERRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with SDLC automation tools like Jenkins, Bit Bucket preferred
  • Master preferred, Computer Science or a related Information Technology field preferred
  • Scrum Certification is Preferred, PMP or Prince Certification a plus
