Position Overview:
  • Lead deployment of new Active Directory Domains including creating new OUs, GPOs and DNS configurations.
  • Write custom scripts to automate system management tasks
  • Build new SCCM for patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment and hardware and software inventory
  • Research and provide recommendations to management on technical decisions
  • Build, patch, monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Unix Servers in a VMware virtualized environment
  • Infrastructure and Systems administration, responsible for supporting multi-platform environments across multiple sites in a secure environment
  • Candidate will interface with Client's Application Development and Corporate Infrastructure groups
  • Build, manage and monitor active directory forest and domains, integration with windows and Unix systems in a secure environment
  • Build, patch, monitor and troubleshoot Windows and Unix Servers
  • Configured Group Policy Objects to create a secure Windows infrastructure
  • Maintained user, group, and computer accounts for an enterprise network
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory backups
Required Qualifications:
  • Enterprise level infrastructure and system administrator with at least 7 years' experience in IT, with a primary focus on Windows Server, Active Directory and DNS
  • Experience with deployment and administration of VMware virtual environments
  • Experience with clusters and shared clustered file systems, High Availability at server and application level
  • Knowledge of fiber channel and ISCSI Storage Arrays
  • Experience creating and maintaining secure file shares and file permissions
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, and ability write custom scripts to automate system management tasks
  • Experience building and maintaining Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for patch management, software distribution, operating system deployment and hardware and software inventory
  • Cybersecurity experience. Knowledge of hardening windows operating systems
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to plan, organize and run meetings and give presentations to all levels of management
  • Must be able to develop documentation that will be consumed by users of diverse backgrounds and skills
  • Ability to multitask and switch priorities as the business warrants
  • Candidate must be available to support 24x7x365 on a rotating basis and have valid driver's license
  • The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate:
    • Microsoft certification preferred, MSCA Windows server 2012 or 2016
    • Unix/Linux(Redhat) system administration
    • Privileged access management (PAM)
    • VMware 6.x and Netapp Storage knowledge
    • Commvault Backup experience
    • Project Management/Team Lead experience
