Eclaro International is currently recruiting for Systems Engineer for one of our financial services clients.

Job Description:

5-7 years of experience in network and systems analysis, and Disaster Recovery (DR) and resiliency designs.

Effective and professional facilitation of teleconference meetings involving a large number of participants, driving the group toward desired outcomes within prescribed timeframes.

The role demands effective collaboration. Must be a mature self-starter able to multi-task in a fast paced environment with minimal direction. Must manage competing priorities under tight deadlines while maintaining necessary processes, controls and procedures that ensure accuracy and integrity in reporting into needed SORs. Must be adept at decomposing complex technology and/or process problems into well organized, logical and detailed descriptions that succinctly highlight critical issues and will facilitate problem solving.

To be successful in this role, the individual must have superior verbal and written communication skills to be comfortable working across a very large, multi-disciplined technology and business organization. These skills are essential for driving groups toward desired outcomes within prescribed timeframes. Related prior experience is required. Leading individuals outside your group will be required; therefore strong inter-personal, influencing, negotiating, consensus building, and conflict resolution skills are crucial. Proven related prior experience is required.

Required skills:

Strong understanding of system monitoring, operating systems, and network technologies.
Role will require experience analyzing system designs for resiliency, DR/BC, documenting weaknesses and gaps.
A seasoned engineer that can quickly establish a full understanding of business objectives and underlying drivers, so they can develop and drive strategies and solutions in support of initiatives and projects that will improve and measure IT services.

Attention to details for following up when services are impacted. The associate must have the technical ability to effectively analyze complex issues, ensuring identification and accurate written documentation of underlying root causes.

Desired skills:

Professional level of etiquette in high pressure situations
Proven ability to explain complex IT concepts in non-technical terms
Proven success building internal and external relationships with vendors and business partners.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translating business requirements, create and deliver reports, presentations and other documents as related to responsibilities listed above.

Preferred Skills

Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking principles and related technologies
Working knowledge of data security issues and solutions
- BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
-Project Management or team management experience
- Working knowledge and experience of ITIL processes
