Revenue Manager
Eclaro is looking for a Revenue Manager for an opportunity for our financial services client in Duluth, Georgia

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Licensed CPA
  • 8+ years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate accounting environment
  • Strong working knowledge of US GAAP with particular emphasis on revenue-related areas (e.g. SOP 97-2, SAB 104, EITF 08-1, ASC 606) and the ability to apply relevant guidance to complex transactions
  • Well organized, detail oriented team player with proven ability to multitask effectively and work independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of management, including legal and sales management who may not have any accounting/finance background
  • Knowledge of business systems and Microsoft Office applications
Responsibilities:
  • Lead adoption effort for ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers
  • Create new processes and define process changes for the adoption of ASC 606
  • Evaluate and design contract environment for new process or process changes
  • Coordinate with IT ASC 606 Project manager to define IT requirements for new process or process changes
  • Assess materiality and report to upper management on expected impact of adoption, including support to determine adoption method
  • Review sales arrangements to ensure compliance with ASC 606 as well as Client’s accounting policies
  • Make process improvement recommendations with regard to policies and procedures
  • Prepare documentation on new policies and processes
  • Assist in providing oversight, guidance and training on new revenue recognition to various functional groups across the Company
  • Prepare analyses related to judgmental policy decisions
  • Facilitate communications and testing by our external auditors
