Work for a logistics global leader. Eclaro is looking for a Python Developer for our client in Atlanta, GA.

Eclaro is looking for a Python Developer contractor for the duration of 2017 to continue the development of the new price determination model (PDM) within IAS.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work closely with RM Pricing Transformation Analytics team to translate analytical prototypes into production models including associated scripting, error handling and documentation
  • Execute updates to production models, working with RM and NJ IT as required
  • Independently able to make minor changes to the production code if input or output structures change, e.g., fields are added, renamed or redefined, or service groups added; and d) Perform regular maintenance of production models including troubleshooting of TP 2.0 internal errors captured in the TP 2.0 error log.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Strong SQL skills (creating complex statements, views, tables, etc.)
•2+ years of
Python experience; pandas & scipy packages as well
•Expert level proficiency in
SQL, Data Modeling, Data Quality
•Experience with an ETL tool (e.g. Talend, Data
Stage, SSIS, Pentaho, etc.)
Data Warehousing knowledge / experience
(Dimensional and Schema design)•Ability to write small scripts in Unix / Bash

MANAGEMENT SKILLS:
  • Application development experience using advanced Python skills required
  • SQL Server query performance optimization, file manipulation, exception handling
  • 5-8 years of experience in systems analysis, applications development and systems architecture
  • T-SQL experience - performance tuning, DTS/SSIS, stored procedures, triggers, views. Microsoft SQL Server dbms expertise preferred.
