Eclaro is looking for a seasoned application development professional to join the team supporting its Finance, Supply Chain, and Transportation systems. The suite of systems consists of a mixture of in-house developed systems as well as vendor applications. In house development is performed using Microsoft .Net/SQL Server and Oracle.

The position will begin immediately and will last 3-6 months. Extensions beyond this timeframe are likely, subject to additional requirements that may arise. Furthermore, for the right candidate future permanent employment may be a possibility. The candidate will work primarily at the headquarters location - 4 Irving Place, New York, and at times other NYC offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze, design, code, test, and document all changes
  • Work on several distinct, but related projects.
  • Capable of performing system architecture tasks, have excellent analytical skills, and be a proficient coder and writer.
  • Working on a variety of assignments to provide staff augmentation on focused tasks, as well as lead new development projects independently
  • Must be a flexible team player who understands that they may be called upon to perform varied tasks from system architecture, analysis, coding, and documentation as the need arises. The work is interesting, the team is great and professional, and the environment is pleasant.

DETAIL:
The first project will implement a new version of our Hyperion Suite. The system is complex from both a technical and business perspective. The project involves planning, evaluating, and executing the upgrade. The tasks range from installing the new software on the Exadata and ExaLogic platforms, regression testing and fixing all issues, evaluating our customizations and interfaces, and making the necessary changes to work with the new version. The candidate will also lead the User Acceptance Testing effort with regards to authoring, coordinating, and executing test plans. The candidate will perform analysis, design, coding, and documentation tasks as needed. The candidate will also perform user training on the new system. The candidate must ensure adequate performance testing and system tuning to acceptable levels. The candidate must understand and master all modules of Hyperion that we have implemented in order to ensure proper functioning of the system in the new version. In essence, the candidate will have responsibility for the full upgrade project end-to-end.
The second project will implement the Data Relationship Management module of Hyperion, and integrate it into our existing environment. This is a full blown implementation of DRM, and the candidate is expected to have technical expertise in the product and to teach other team members DRM. In addition, the candidate is expected to learn the existing legacy systems and business functions to ensure proper implementation of the new system.

The candidate will work as part of a high-functioning team, and is expected to work effectively as a member of the team, as well as independently. In sum, we need the total package - a technical architect and programmer, super analyst, with great written and oral communication skills.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Candidate should demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:
  • (5-10 years) implementing complex vendor software packages, writing project documentation, and directing a team of employees and vendor consultants.
  • (5-10 years) experience developing and supporting the Hyperion suite of products (Hyperion Planning, HFM, FDM, Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Reports, EPMA)
  • (5-10 years) experience with installation and support of the Hyperion suite of products
  • (5-10 yeas) experience designing and implementing Oracle/Hyperion Data Relationship Management (DRM)
  • (5-10 years) experience with full life cycle of project development, including requirements, design, development, testing, rollout, implementation and training
  • (5-10 years) Strong Application Architecture Design
  • (5-10 years) experience writing technical specifications and user documentation.
  • (5-10 years) analyzing and designing complex computer systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • SOX IT Controls
  • Oracle EBS
  • Previous experience with the Client technical environment is a plus
  • (5-10 years) Strong SQL Server developer with proficiency in version 2012 and forward
  • (5-10 years) experience doing SQL server-side programming including SSRS, stored procedure, view, and DTS/SSIS package creation using Microsoft SQLServer 2005 and 2008R2, 2012/14
  • (5-10 years) Experience in OOP design and development in Visual Studio 2012
  • (5-10 years) experience doing Client-server development using VB.net or C#
  • (5+ years) Experience in Javascript, XML and jQuery. Angular is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile.
  • (5-10 years) implementing SOX systems and interfaces
