The Global Collateral Data and Feed Management team is responsible for managing the data inputs and margin call calculations for the OTC bilateral derivative trading activity. The role is for an associate who will work on the team responsible for ensuring the variation margin and initial margin requirements are completed in time for the start of day process in the Asia Pacific region. In addition to the margin calculation process, the associate will be expected to participate in project work to improve reporting as it relates to the collateral management life cycle. The project work is expected to occur for various lines of business including OTC Bilateral Derivatives, Listed Futures & Options, OTC Cleared Derivatives, Repo and Fixed Income Forwards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Management, monitoring, oversight & control of the daily delivery of multiple Front Office exposure, pricing and agreement feeds into the Global Collateral Management System
• Work closely with technology teams to Identify and resolve data quality issues which may impact collateral margin calls and create credit exposure to the firm
• Detailed analysis on trade & mark to market (MTM) variances, working closely with the global middle office team on potential booking, curve and pricing issues
• Escalation of issues to margin managers, credit risk, middle office & senior management

EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Strong data mining and analysis skills
  • Proficient in MS ExcelStrong understanding of financial markets with preferably more than 2 years of experience in any of the following disciplines:
  • Methodical and organized mindset, with attention to detail in order to ensure data completeness, accuracy and integrity in reporting
  • Ability to present issues/ideas of moderate complexity in an easy to understand manner
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly numerate with analytical problem-solving ability with proven track record of delivering results
  • Decision maker
  • Self-starter, well organized, ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail, delivering high quality output
  • Undergraduate Degree with a preference for Finance or Operation Management focus
  • Strong understanding of financial markets with preferably more than 2 years of experience in any of the following disciplines:
    1. Valuations
    2. OTC derivatives or fixed income lifecycle
    3. Regulatory reporting
    4. Operations
    5. Collateral management
    PREFERRED SKILLS:
    • Experience within Financial Services / Banking industry
    • Strong Excel skills
    • Excellent at engaging with global peers to ensure best practice is adopted at all times
    • Confident in facing off to senior stakeholders across the business (including Sales, Trading, Product Control, Credit and Legal)
    • Process reengineering to improve control, automation and levels of sophistication
    • Strong controls background with previous experience of implementing and maintaining key business controls
    • Understanding of a control environment
    • Ability to navigate organization
