Responsibilities
This role is predominately focused on: Business Support/BFO
The Counterparty Portfolio Management (CPM) finance team is part of the GBAM CFO organization. The CPM desk manages 2 primary businesses of XVA on Global Markets derivative portfolio and Central Funding Desk (CFD). The team is comprised of approximately 50 employees primarily located in NY, NY
XVA consists of CVA (counterparty credit), DVA (own credit), FVA (funding), KVA (capital), and any other related future pricing components on the derivative portfolio.
CFD manages the risk of Client structured notes issuance where notes are issued with Equity, Complex Interest Rate Option, Complex FX Option, Credit and Commodity asset class undelying.
The role in CFD involves reviewing and analyzing the daily pnl, risk drivers and balance sheet, review the month end close, and interacting with other groups across the firm.
The teammate in this role will see firsthand how current and future market and regulatory changes impact structured notes issuance and profitability. In addition, the individual will actively involved in discussions/process of CFD valuation changes in a dynamic environment.

Primary focus of the role:
? Assist in the production of Daily pnl, p2a, f2a and various risk based reporting for one or multiple asset classes
? Assist in the production of daily FOBO reconciliations for the various CFD businesses
? Engage in various MO driven initiatives like PCS, (Risk self assessment) and Sox control
? Participate in the monthly close process for CFD
? Partner closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations and Technology to define business processes and implement related technology solutions.
? Candidate will be involved with complex design and delivery issues that impact multiple lines of business.
? Will be expected to assist with business case, conceptual designs (business process and technical) and lead specific aspects of analysis. Contribution will focus on areas of subject matter expertise in OTC transaction processing, P&L analysis and accounting.
? Communication skills will be heavily utilized through working with the many stakeholders involved with implementation
? Risk and Issue identification, Management, and resolution.
? Liaison with Technology to oversee aspects of implementation " "

This position is posted as an SFA but is flexible to be filled as an IFA if the posted qualifications are met by a strong IFA level applicant.

Required Skills
? Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance
? 4-8+ years financial industry/banking experience
? Strong financial analytics experience
? Advanced experience/skills with Excel and complex spreadsheets
? Candidate must be able to work both independently and as team member
? Strong communication and presentation skills
? Strong problem solving and analytical abilities (Excel/Essbase)

Desired Skills
? MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced certification
? Experience with Bloomberg, or Hyperion/Essbase/SAP
? Insight/Essbase experience
? Control focused, analytical, team oriented, comfortable with complex products
