POSITION OVERVIEW
The Credit Analyst will work within the Private Bank Banking Operations and will provide operational support and exceptional service to the Front Office, Credit Advisors delivering reliability, quality, and consistency. Tasks include customer service, investigations, documentation review and analysis, procedure development, and reporting. In this role, you will work closely with the Credit Advisors, Client Life Cycle (Relationship Officers, DCT) teams in NYC and Miami, in addition to business partners in Information Technology, Front Office, Compliance, Legal, and Management at all levels.

The role will require constant follow up and monitoring, accuracy, attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written are also essential. During periods of slower volumes in reviewing documentation, the role would support Banking Operations with other account maintenance and reporting activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist management with the enhanced review and approval of credit documentation
  • Perform tasks according to prescribed procedures while using good judgment and sound decisions to work through exceptions or complex situations
  • Liaise between many areas within Operations and Front Office (client-facing teams) as well as other business partners within the Private Bank and HClient Organization

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Minimum of 2-4 years' experience in Banking or Financial Services; paralegal experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of strong client service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to read Corporate and Legal documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and good listening skills
  • Ability to work comfortably in a team environment or independently, and have tolerance for high pressure situations
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly and meet strict deadlines
  • Strong organization skills and time management abilities
  • Bilingualism, with the ability to write and speak Spanish
  • Energetic, driven, committed, self-motivated attitude
  • Technical skills (Excel, Word), a plus
