Be part of the Financial Services Industry. Eclaro is looking for a Cloud Security Architect for our client in Monterey, CA.

Eclaro's client is a full-service bank providing a wide spectrum of corporate, commercial, retail banking, and wealth management solutions, with offices across the United States.

As a Cloud Security Architect, you will have an opportunity to participate in a large-scale Enterprise-wide datacenter redesign that is helping drive the bank in the development and adoption of cutting edge security solutions to safeguard our customers and employees. This will include the chance to lead innovative approaches to security, as well as mainstream enterprise technologies, and mature and deliver an overall Security Architecture practice defining objective requirements, patterns for delivery, and review practices to assess alignment.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE REQUIRED:
You should be an expert in Microsoft technologies, including Active Directory (AD), .Net security and their cloud offerings, like Azure and Office 365, and in Microsoft security architecture/design best practices, such as threat modeling and reference security architectures.

Your knowledge of Microsoft server-side products and cloud offerings should be exceptional, and you should have a have masterful understanding of Microsoft Server products, DNS, Shares, GPOs, Services, OU structuring, and merging/consolidating disparate forests (ex: parent and child companies moving from multiple distinct AD forests into one global instance).

ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
  • Masterful understanding of technology and systems infrastructure including, but not limited to, databases, identity and access management, network security, system security, data protection, and all other security domains
  • Masterful understanding of cloud including PaaS, SaaS, IaaS and the associated major cloud offerings
  • Proficiency in defining system security requirements/architecture to ensure compliance with GLBA, SOX, FFIEC, and PCI
  • Strategic and technical thinking-understanding of systems, infrastructure and various types of applications
  • Analytical skills on how to design an advanced and highly complex Microsoft Active Directory environment both on premises and in the cloud
  • Expertise in project management
  • Strong problem resolution and listening skills
  • Ability to educate and inspire direct reports and colleagues as to the benefit of the approaches required
  • Ability to synthesize general architecture approaches and controls, deliverable across a broad range of target platforms
  • Ability to structure and drive change through both direct execution and indirect influence
  • Ability to perform an analysis of current state and provide recommendations on future state solutions
  • Ability to drive technical projects to completion
  • Ability to lead large programs or work across lines of business within complex organizations

QUALITIES AND/OR EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
  • A strong background in large enterprise infrastructure engineering and security architecture
  • Understands how to design an enterprise identity and access management solution for a cloud enabled data center, leveraging on premise AD and Azure AD
  • Collaborative yet able to drive decisions when consensus is lacking
  • Hands-on knowledge on how to empower people, build rapport, garner respect, and appropriately exercise authority in a collaborative cross-cultural environment
  • Previous responsibility for large enterprise technology environment with diverse technologies
