Professional Services Business Operations Consultant
ECLARO is looking for a Business Operations Consultant for an opportunity for our financial services client in Duluth, Georgia

The Global Operations team provides consultation to the PS VP, field PS partners and managing partners and/or other solution team managers in managing the operational and/or process deployment aspects of Professional Services in the Solution Teams. The Global Operations team enables PS success as a highly productive organization through managed, defined processes and performance-improving Business Operations consulting.

Business Ops Senior Consultant: This role leverages knowledge and competence in designing, developing and delivering professional services processes/ methodologies, programs, and education. The Consultant uses overall knowledge of the industry and business solutions to drive operation improvement or stronger business results. The Consultant must use knowledge of Client’s/ PS business processes in order to effectively communicate their relevance and importance to the PS community. The Consultant will work with cross functional teams to create new best practices, job aids, and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial/ Business Management of PS Practice using data analytics and KPIs
  • Manage and Direct Revenue forecast through proactive Project Progress & Milestone Reviews
  • Control labor costs and people utilization to align to team profit commitments
  • Analyze practice profitability drivers, recommend and implement improvement plans
  • Drive Improvements in the operations of the PS business.
  • Provide Professional Services expertise/ analysis to PS management.
  • Target activities to improve productivity and profitability of PS consultants in the field practices through performance analysis.
  • Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve results.
  • Address and improve process gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Measure and Govern Professional Services business effectiveness.
  • Report on a core set of financial, operational, and people-related metrics for multiple levels of PS practices (global, regional, field).
  • Analyze PS business and evaluate metrics, identify opportunities and actions for improvement. Conduct monthly Region reviews.
  • Share PS expertise/ analysis in the form of operational reviews and audits, as well as process review and audits for compliance.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional presentation skills, ability to instill trust
  • 10+ years’ experience building/running Professional Services organization in technology environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Strong consulting skills; project (PM) and team management experience in a distributed environment.
  • Must operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills; ability to think quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrable success planning and managing scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality, and risks.
  • Detail oriented and the ability to learn, retain and apply considerable amounts of information.
  • Ability to work in a team environment in order to resolve customer issues.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to be flexible, juggle priorities, reverse direction and modify plans as requirements change. Ability to multi-task.
