Document Editor (PDOCS) Specialist

The Administrative Assistant specialist will be responsible for performing tasks associated with the transition from SAP/DMS to PDOCS for documentation management. He/She will be required to author, route and promote document change requests within PDOCS. This individual will also be required to route and coordinate document change requests within SAP/DMS. This position will assist in manually migrating approximately 600 documents from SAP/DMS to PDOCS and approximately another 600 documents from PDOCS MCD cabinet to the PDOCS SLS cabinet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Author, route, and power promote document change requests within PDOCS.
  • Author and coordinate document changes within SAP/DMS to align with the migration.
  • Follow procedures for using the systems based on the user roles assigned.
  • Reformat existing documents to align with new format requirements.
  • Accommodate project schedule to meet business needs and project timelines.
  • Work with subject matter experts and QA to obtain approvals as needed
  • This individual will primarily interact with internal colleagues and direct management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum of a high school diploma. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Acrobat PDF is required.
  • Experience with PDOCS and/or SAP/DMS is desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Acrobat PDF is required.
  • Experience with PDOCS (Documentum) and/or SAP/DMS is desired.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
  • Note the physical conditions in which work will be performed, if applicable to the position. Examples: Lifting, sitting, standing, walking, ability to travel, drive, unusual attendance requirements, weekend work or travel requirements, etc.
  • Exposure to any hazardous materials or non-standard working environment
  • Involve sitting for long periods, and using the computer.
